All of these people come from different parts of North Bristol RFC which is fantastic to see and provides us with diverse and wide club representation at both committee and directors level.

Life membership is an honour bestowed on individual club members who have shown exceptional, loyal and outstanding contribution to the club over an extended period of time.
Their contribution has produced measurable benefit to the club over a sustained period and is obvious to all. Following the 2026 Club Annual General Meeting (AGM), 3 people have been awarded the highest honour and level of recognition by North Bristol RFC for all that they have done for the club over many, many years.

Two of our Junior Coaches (Kate & Max) have recently been out in our local community volunteering their skills and experience
Oscars is a breakfast/afterschool/holiday club based in Frampton Cotterell. It is a non profit registered charity. Sam the manager at Oscars asked Kate and Max if they could run a tag rugby session for them as part of their summer play scheme. Both were more then happy to help and support. They recently delivered a fun and enjoyable tag rugby session, with the vast majority of primary school aged children having never played rugby before. The feedback from the session was overwhelmingly positive, with lots of children saying that they had fun with smiles all round at the end of the session One parent reached out to the coaches after session to say "thanks for a lovely rugby session today, Freya has been talking about you all evening, she loved it" Great work both, amazing to see you supporting our local community in such a positive way, as well as promoting the love of this fantastic game we call rugby to lots of youngsters Up The North |

Bristol Bears Women 🐻 @ North Bristol RFC ❤️💙
Bristol Bears Women will take two home fixtures on the road during this season’s JAECOO PWR Next Gen Cup, with round one and round three set to be hosted at partner club North Bristol RFC.
The fixtures will see the Bears play in the heart of one of the club’s valued community partners, reinforcing Bristol Bears’ commitment to growing the women’s game across the region while creating more opportunities for supporters to experience Premiership Women’s Rugby at grassroots clubs.
Bears’ PWR Next Gen Cup campaign begins with a home fixture against Trailfinders Women at North Bristol RFC on Saturday, 19 September (1pm kick-off), before returning to Oaklands to host Gloucester-Hartpury on Saturday, 3 October (1pm kick-off).
The Bears then conclude their pool-stage campaign with an away trip to Harlequins on Saturday, 17 October, with kick-off at 2pm.
Daisie Mayes, Bristol Bears Women’s General Manager, said: “We’re delighted to be taking our JAECOO PWR Next Gen Cup pool fixtures to North Bristol RFC for the 2026/27 season. While Shaftesbury Park remains the proud home of Bristol Bears Women, and we continue to work closely with Dings Crusaders to enhance the supporter experience there each year, the Cup competition provides a fantastic opportunity to connect with new communities and bring the team to different parts of the City.
“North Bristol RFC made a real impression when we hosted our Player Talent Development programme during the Women’s Six Nations period, bringing together aspiring players from across the region to experience the Bears environment. The club is doing outstanding work to grow the game locally, with Ellie Marston-Mulhearn, Martin Harrex and the wider teams delivering a thriving Women and Girls programme that is creating opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.

Craig H remains a key part of the management team, and we’re excited to welcome Craig Capel, who brings a wealth of rugby knowledge, experience and connections to support both player and coach development across the club.
We’re looking forward to seeing what this group can achieve together.

Over this past year, Steve has made a huge contribution across all sections of North, providing leadership, structure and support while helping build the foundations of the rugby pathway we continue to develop today. His commitment to the club, its players, coaches and volunteers has helped strengthen our rugby programme and shape the direction of the club.
Thankfully, Steve isn’t going far. He will continue supporting our Colts and remains heavily involved in club rugby. He is also leading the development of our 23rd team – an inclusive rugby team that will continue the vision and legacy that Boldy was so passionate about.

Discipline Secretary
Nearly 50 years ago when I first joined North Bristol RFC, messages like this might have been written in chalk on a changing room wall. Thankfully some things have moved on, but the values that make this club special remain the same.
Having now completed my first full season as Discipline Secretary, I’d like to thank everyone across the club for their support. It has been encouraging to see the respect shown by our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters throughout the season.
Whilst we did have a small number of disciplinary matters to deal with, the overwhelming feedback from match officials has been positive, and that reflects well on everyone involved with North Bristol RFC.
As we look ahead to the new season, there are two important reminders:
Discipline isn’t just about sanctions; it’s about protecting the culture and reputation of our club. Together, we all play a part in ensuring North Bristol remains a welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable environment for everyone.
